Founded in 1987 by Henry M. Gottfried in Rochester, NY, Javelin assisted clients obtain federal contracts. We were the first joint venture partner of the U.S. Department of Commerce - making volumes of government information available to the general public for the first time. We've worked with several other federal and state agencies to help our clients meet their objectives.
While we still work with clients to obtain federal contracts - either as a prime or sub-contractors - our primary focus today is helping companies locate partners for research and development opportunities that result in technology commercialization. Javelin works with federal agencies, national labs, prime contractors and R&D centers to better position your company to complete high-priority projects. We also work with clients to prepare them to meet with the venture capital community - specifically in conducting the necessary due diligence that funding sources demand.
Javelin has also positioned itself to leverage national and international access to intellectual property assets to decrease time to market for your products and services.
