Paid Internship
We're looking for an intern to work the Summer of 2007 who has some background in the optical sciences, or more generally photonics-enabled technologies. The candidate must have an interest in learning about entrepreneurialism - working directly with startup and early stage companies in developing various proposals seeking funding (specifically, SBIR/STTR funding - don't worry if you don't know what that is!). There'll also be a mish-mash of other work that'll arrise over the course of the term - business planning, competitive analysis, market assessments, etc. Excellent communications skills a must.

Pay range: Based on experience, this position will be budgeted for approximately 30 hours per week at between $10-15/hr. It is anticipated that the term of this position will be 10 weeks.
